Uchralbayar has over ten years of professional experience under his belt. He started his career an associate at the Ulaanbaatar office of Grata, (a Kazakhstan-based regional law firm covering several Central Asian countries).
In 2014, Uchralbayar joined as a senior associate MDS KhanLex (at the time the merged firm of KhanLex Partners and MDS Associates). At MDS KhanLex Uchralbayar advised on broad range of business law matters, such as financing, construction, foreign investment as well as dispute resolution, both local and international.
In 2018, Uchralbayar joined, as a founding partner, the ex-KhanLex Partners lawyers in de-merging from MDS KhanLex and re-launching KhanLex Partners. In addition to a partner, Uchralbayar is CEO of KhanLex Partners.
Uchralbayar has been named a Next Generation lawyer by Legal500.

  • Advised the largest commercial bank of Mongolia in respect of design, construction, financing, commissioning and management of its new headoffice complex in downtown Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia 
  • Advising a European company in respect of construction of a plant to produce concrete and mineral-asphalt masses for construction of roads and railroads in Mongolia 
  • Advised a Hong-Kong based global satellite operator in respect of acquisition and resale of substantial stake in a startup satellite and broadband company of Mongolia 
  • Advising a leading multilateral development bank on debt financing of a top Mongolian leasing company 
  • Advising a leading multilateral development bank on debt financing of one of the Mongolian largest trade companies 
  • Advising a leading multilateral development bank in respect of syndicated project financing of 15MW solar power project, becoming the largest solar generator in Mongolia 
  • Advising a leading multilateral development bank on debt financing of the largest cashmere producer of Mongolia
